ESTIMATES & PROJECT APPROVAL

Project Estimates & Authorization

All estimates provided by R&R Reparation & Service are based on the information available at the time of evaluation and the scope of work discussed with the customer.

An estimate describes the anticipated scope of work, materials, labor, and pricing applicable to the proposed project. Any work, materials, modifications, repairs, or services not specifically included in the approved scope may result in additional charges.

Work will not be scheduled or commenced until the customer has approved the applicable estimate or agreement and any required initial payment has been received.

Approval of an estimate confirms the customer's authorization for R&R Reparation & Service to perform the work described in the approved scope, subject to the applicable project terms and conditions.

PAYMENT TERMS

Deposit & Final Payment

R&R Reparation & Service generally requires an initial payment equal to 50% of the approved project price before work is scheduled or commenced.

The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the agreed scope of work, unless different payment terms are expressly stated in the written estimate, contract, or project agreement.

Additional work, materials, upgrades, changes, or services requested by the customer that are outside the original approved scope may result in additional charges and may require additional payment before such work is performed.

Payments made for materials, special-order items, permits, or other project-specific expenses may be subject to additional terms stated in the applicable estimate or agreement.

Failure to make payments when due may result in suspension of work, postponement of scheduling, or other remedies permitted under the applicable agreement and law.

CHANGE ORDERS & ADDITIONAL WORK

Changes to the Approved Scope

Any work, materials, services, upgrades, repairs, or modifications requested by the customer that are not included in the original approved estimate or agreement will be considered additional work.

Additional work may require a written change order, revised estimate, or other written approval before the additional work is performed.

Any approved additional work may result in additional labor, material, permit, equipment, subcontractor, or other project-related charges and may also affect the estimated project completion date.

R&R Reparation & Service is not obligated to perform work outside the approved scope unless such additional work has been accepted by the company and any applicable pricing and payment requirements have been agreed upon.

Conditions that were not reasonably visible or discoverable before work began—including concealed damage, water damage, mold, deteriorated materials, structural conditions, electrical or plumbing conditions, code-related issues, or other hidden conditions—may require additional work and additional charges.

When reasonably practicable, the customer will be informed before such additional work is performed.

SCHEDULING & PROJECT TIMELINE

Scheduling, Delays & Completion

Project start dates, schedules, and estimated completion dates are provided in good faith based on the scope of work and information available at the time of scheduling.

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside the reasonable control of R&R Reparation & Service, including weather conditions, material availability or delivery delays, permit processing, inspections, utility interruptions, concealed or unforeseen site conditions, customer-requested changes, subcontractor availability, or other circumstances that may reasonably affect the progress of the work.

R&R Reparation & Service will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant scheduling changes or delays to the customer.

Delays caused by the customer, including failure to provide access to the property, delayed selections or approvals, requested changes, or failure to make required payments, may result in rescheduling and may affect the anticipated completion date.

Unless expressly guaranteed in a written agreement signed by R&R Reparation & Service, estimated start and completion dates should not be interpreted as guaranteed deadlines.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Property Access & Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing R&R Reparation & Service, its employees, subcontractors, and authorized personnel with reasonable and timely access to the property and areas necessary to perform the approved work.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for removing or securing personal belongings, valuables, furniture, decorations, electronics, vehicles, and other items that may interfere with or be exposed to the work area.

The customer must inform R&R Reparation & Service of any known conditions that may affect the work, including existing damage, leaks, electrical or plumbing issues, structural concerns, hazardous conditions, access restrictions, building or association requirements, or other relevant property conditions.

When reasonably necessary for the project, the customer is responsible for providing access to available utilities such as electricity and water unless otherwise stated in the applicable estimate or agreement.

Children and pets should be kept safely away from active work areas, tools, equipment, materials, and construction debris.

Delays, additional labor, return visits, or other costs resulting from restricted access, unprepared work areas, inaccurate information, or other customer-related conditions may result in additional charges when reasonably applicable and disclosed to the customer.

MATERIALS & PRODUCT SELECTIONS

Materials, Availability & Customer Selections

Materials, products, fixtures, finishes, colors, models, and other project selections may be subject to availability, manufacturer inventory, supplier conditions, delivery schedules, and price changes beyond the reasonable control of R&R Reparation & Service.

Unless specific products or materials are expressly included in the approved estimate or agreement, product selections and specifications must be approved before ordering or installation.

If a specified material or product becomes unavailable, discontinued, delayed, or subject to a significant price change, R&R Reparation & Service may propose a reasonably comparable alternative or provide the customer with available options.

Any difference in cost will be communicated when reasonably practicable before the substitution is approved.

Customer-requested upgrades, substitutions, premium materials, or changes made after approval of the original scope may result in additional charges and changes to the project schedule.

When materials, fixtures, appliances, or other products are supplied directly by the customer, the customer is responsible for ensuring that such items are suitable, complete, undamaged, compatible with the intended installation, and available when required.

Additional labor, modifications, delays, or return visits resulting from customer-supplied products may result in additional charges.

Special-order, custom, fabricated, or non-returnable materials may be subject to separate payment, cancellation, return, or restocking conditions as disclosed in the applicable estimate, agreement, or supplier terms.

PERMITS, INSPECTIONS & CODE REQUIREMENTS

Permits, Inspections & Regulatory Requirements

Certain projects may require building permits, inspections, approvals, engineering, plans, or other governmental or regulatory requirements depending on the type and location of the work.

When permits or inspections are required for the approved scope of work, the applicable estimate or agreement will identify, when reasonably practicable, whether R&R Reparation & Service or the customer is responsible for obtaining or coordinating them.

Permit fees, inspection fees, engineering, architectural services, plans, revisions, governmental fees, association requirements, and other related costs are not included in the project price unless expressly stated in the approved estimate or agreement.

Project schedules may be affected by permit processing times, plan review, inspections, governmental agencies, building departments, condominium or homeowners’ associations, or other third parties outside the reasonable control of R&R Reparation & Service.

If an inspection, code requirement, governmental directive, or previously unknown property condition requires additional work or modifications beyond the approved scope, such work may require a change order and additional charges.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate property information and, when applicable, timely access to documents, approvals, association requirements, or authorizations reasonably necessary to process the project.

R&R Reparation & Service will not knowingly perform work in a manner that requires the company to violate applicable licensing, permitting, building code, or regulatory requirements.

HIDDEN & UNFORESEEN CONDITIONS

Concealed or Unforeseen Conditions

Existing properties may contain concealed or unforeseen conditions that are not visible or reasonably discoverable before work begins.

Such conditions may include, without limitation, hidden water damage, deteriorated or damaged materials, concealed plumbing or electrical problems, structural deficiencies, improper prior construction or repairs, code-related conditions, pest damage, moisture intrusion, mold or suspected hazardous materials, underground or concealed utilities, or other conditions discovered during demolition, removal, installation, or construction.

R&R Reparation & Service is not responsible for pre-existing concealed conditions that could not reasonably have been identified before the affected area was opened, removed, demolished, or otherwise made accessible.

If a concealed or unforeseen condition is discovered, work in the affected area may be temporarily suspended when reasonably necessary to evaluate the condition, determine an appropriate course of action, or obtain required professional evaluation, permits, inspections, or customer authorization.

Work necessary to investigate, correct, repair, remediate, or otherwise address a concealed or unforeseen condition is not included in the original project price unless expressly stated in the approved estimate or agreement and may require a change order, additional payment, and additional project time.

When reasonably practicable, R&R Reparation & Service will notify the customer of the discovered condition and any recommended additional work before proceeding with work outside the originally approved scope.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Project Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted to R&R Reparation & Service in writing as soon as reasonably possible.

Any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with the applicable estimate or written agreement and any cancellation rights required by applicable law.

After any legally required cancellation period has expired, amounts already committed or incurred for approved project expenses—including special-order or custom materials, permit or administrative costs, design or professional services, mobilization, completed labor, or other non-recoverable project expenses—may be deducted from any refund to the extent permitted by the applicable agreement and law.

If work has already commenced, the customer remains responsible for authorized work performed, materials supplied or committed to the project, and other properly incurred project costs through the effective date of cancellation, subject to applicable law and the written project agreement.

Special-order, custom-fabricated, modified, installed, or otherwise non-returnable materials may not be refundable once ordered or committed when permitted by applicable supplier terms, the project agreement, and applicable law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit any cancellation or refund right that cannot legally be waived.

WARRANTY & WORKMANSHIP

Workmanship & Product Warranties

R&R Reparation & Service is committed to performing the approved scope of work in a professional manner consistent with applicable industry standards and legal requirements.

Any specific workmanship warranty offered for a project, including its duration, scope, conditions, exclusions, and available remedies, will be stated in the applicable written estimate, contract, or warranty documentation.

Manufacturer warranties applicable to materials, fixtures, appliances, equipment, or other products are provided by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's own terms, conditions, limitations, registration requirements, and warranty procedures.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing, R&R Reparation & Service does not independently extend or modify a manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty coverage does not apply, to the extent permitted by law, to damage or conditions caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, lack of maintenance, customer or third-party alterations or repairs, accidents, improper use, pre-existing conditions, concealed conditions, water intrusion or moisture originating outside the approved scope, pests, natural disasters, or other causes outside the reasonable control of R&R Reparation & Service.

Customers should notify R&R Reparation & Service promptly in writing of any claimed workmanship issue and provide reasonable access to inspect the affected work before arranging repairs by another contractor, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent injury or additional property damage.

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive, disclaim, or limit any warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, disclaimed, or limited under applicable law.

PROPERTY CONDITIONS & DAMAGE

Pre-Existing Conditions & Property Protection

Before work begins, R&R Reparation & Service may document the condition of the work area and surrounding property through photographs, videos, written notes, or other reasonable means.

The customer should disclose any known existing damage, fragile surfaces, concealed utilities, previous repairs, leaks, structural concerns, or other property conditions that could reasonably affect the performance of the work.

R&R Reparation & Service will use reasonable care to protect accessible areas of the property that may be affected by the approved work. Construction and remodeling activities may nevertheless involve dust, vibration, noise, temporary disruption, minor surface disturbance, and other conditions reasonably associated with the work being performed.

R&R Reparation & Service is not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary deterioration, concealed defects, improperly installed existing materials, or conditions that were not caused by the company's work.

If existing materials or finishes must be removed, opened, cut, drilled, disturbed, or modified in order to perform the approved scope, restoration of those areas is included only to the extent expressly stated in the applicable estimate or agreement.

The customer should promptly report any alleged property damage believed to have resulted from the work and provide R&R Reparation & Service with a reasonable opportunity to inspect the condition before repairs are performed by another party, except when immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect persons or property.

Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

SUBCONTRACTORS & THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Subcontractors, Specialists & Suppliers

R&R Reparation & Service may use qualified subcontractors, trade professionals, suppliers, vendors, consultants, or other third parties when reasonably necessary to perform or support an approved project.

Certain specialized work, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, air-conditioning, roofing, or other regulated trades, may be performed by appropriately licensed or authorized professionals when required by applicable law or by the scope of the project.

R&R Reparation & Service may coordinate and schedule subcontractors and other project participants as reasonably necessary for the performance of the approved scope of work.

Project schedules may be affected by the availability of subcontractors, specialty trades, suppliers, inspectors, manufacturers, or other third parties whose timing is outside the reasonable control of R&R Reparation & Service.

Materials, equipment, products, or services supplied by third parties may also be subject to the applicable manufacturer's, supplier's, or service provider's terms, availability, and warranties.

Nothing in these terms authorizes the performance of work by a person or entity that is not properly licensed, certified, registered, or otherwise authorized when such authorization is required by applicable law.

PROJECT PHOTOS & DOCUMENTATION

Project Documentation & Photography

R&R Reparation & Service may photograph or record project areas before, during, and after construction for legitimate business purposes, including documenting existing conditions, project progress, completed work, change orders, warranty matters, quality control, and project records.

Project documentation may be maintained as part of the company's business records and may, when reasonably necessary, be shared with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, inspectors, consultants, insurance representatives, or other parties involved in evaluating or completing the project.

Photographs or videos intended for public marketing, advertising, website portfolios, social media, promotional materials, or similar public use will be handled with reasonable regard for customer privacy.

R&R Reparation & Service will not intentionally publish the customer's full street address, personal documents, security information, family photographs, or other sensitive identifying information visible within project media.

Photographs or videos containing an identifiable customer, family member, or other individual will not be intentionally used for commercial or advertising purposes without appropriate consent.

Where customer authorization for promotional use is required or requested, such authorization may be obtained separately in the applicable estimate, contract, photo release, or other written approval.

Customers may communicate privacy concerns regarding project photography to R&R Reparation & Service, and the company will make reasonable efforts to address those concerns consistent with project documentation and legal requirements.

Any preliminary pricing, verbal discussion, online information, or estimate request is subject to property conditions, site evaluation, measurements, material selections, availability, permitting requirements, project scope, and other applicable factors.

A binding project scope, price, payment schedule, responsibilities, and other project-specific terms are established through the applicable written estimate, proposal, contract, or agreement accepted by the parties.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Any project-specific allocation of risk, responsibility, indemnification, or limitation of liability will be governed by the applicable written estimate, contract, or project agreement and applicable law.

If any limitation contained in these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, it will be applied only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
